I bailed early on work Friday to join Mel in visiting our coworker friend Emily in hospital with her new son Isaac Alexander Wade (which by the way is pronounce I-Zack in Australia). Here's Em and Isaac.

Then of course there was Mel and Archer...
And a good shot of Waz with smiling and laughing Archer. I had a sleepover at Mel and Waz's Friday night. You would never know it from these pics, but Mel and I had a bit of an adventure getting from Em's hospital back to Hoppers Crossing. Archer was having no fun in the back seat, so we played musical car seats. I hopped from the front passenger seat into the back seat next to Archer to try keep him happy while Mel drove on the highway. Mel sang and I rubbed his head and put the dummy (pacifier) in his mouth. Then, when we got off the highway, Archer had a diaper change and Mel jumped into the back seat while I drove the rest of the way to Mel's house. Hard to imagine this boy unhappy, isn't it?

Les and Enrique brought their little one week old Liam Cruz to Mel's house Friday evening. Mel and Les have been friends for 15 years and now they have sons that are only a couple months apart!
