Friday Night Drinks were followed by a couple bar hops, one to Bear Brass, just down the promenade from the office and another to Gertrudes in Fitzroy. We were sending off an American who has finished her stint in Australia and is now headed to Honduras to live and work for a while. Another Texan is infiltrating the Melbourne office, and she was out for drinks as well. Sarah, from the URS office in Houston, arrived last week and made it to drinks before actually making it to work. Now she knows how to do it. As I am now living on the “right” side of the river, I scored a ride home since I was on the way.
