The whole family met in New Zealand to do a 10 day tour of the South Island. I flew in from Melbourne on Tuesday night and the rest of the family arrived early Wednesday morning from Texas with a long layover in San Francisco. Here's the crew showered and ready for breakfast.
So... speaking of breakfast... I ordered eggs and followed suit after my dad ordered the Monteith's beer wheel sampler. My favorite was the original ale. How can you eat at The Tap Room without sampling the tap? When our bill came, it said "Table 13: Texan Family". Hmmm... I wonder what kind of impression we left.
There's Lisa chasing the birds in front of our hotel, Rydges, located in the central Christchurch CBD between Cathedral Square and Avon River.
Katie and I cracked ourselves up laying on the train tracks. A few other people looked horrified and entertained.
It looks like the train is coming straight for us, but that's just years of practice in stunt photography (it's actually driving away from us).
Oh wait, we all did. And we all had something very important to say (or yell).
What a bunch of kids. I love this picture of Lisa and Katie playing in the leaves.
